I had no idea either about tonight, that's for damn sure, LOL. I just read something from one of the commentaries though and it basically said that when they dropped off this episode to the BBC, they left that bit out just to make sure it wouldn't make it into any of the pre-reviews of the ep. Sneaky bastards.
I don't quite agree with your dad there, LOL. But that's okay. :)
I love sneaky bastards like that. Bwah. And I don't agree with him either, don't worry ;)
I was glad that the Doc seems to have learned from what Martha told him. He acknowledged it, remembered it, and actually used that information to try to ensure that it doesn't go all complicated again. Hooray!
Sneaky brilliant bastards, I should amend that statement. I thought it was great. :D
OMG YES. I think one of my first comments was "Oh thank god the emotional fuckwit learned!" Because he was a bit of a twit/outright alien when it came to the emotional bits last season, in my opinion, so I was thrilled to see that he 1) learned from what happened, it didn't just fly over his head and 2) Martha was given due credit for being brilliant. Yaye. Because she was a brilliant character, but that whole pining thing was a little bit "oy..." for me. ;) Now he's got a mate, and I don't think Donna's going to let it be anything else. :)
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a running theme. *g*
Rewatching does sound like a good idea, wasn't it? I had the episode on here with my friend Paige and we're watching, enjoying, thinking the Adipose are cute and Paige wanting to get a stuffed toy made out of one, and then all of a sudden...O_o. Doomsday music starts. Okay, bit odd. Donna walks up street, starts talking to a blonde....at which point I think I left bruises on Paige's leg because I grabbed it so hard, LOL.
*is still flailing incoherently, but in a good way*
You are quite correct, and there is a part of me that is really nervous that RTD is going to stick the knife in repeatedly and twist it (Which he is quite good at, as the Torchwood finale yesterday proved). I guess I prefer to live in hope though, you know? :)
