Sooooo...

Would anyone out there be willing to take on the task of beta-ing probably the most insane, cracked out piece I've ever written? It's a Harry Potter/X-Files/Good Omens (and one other fandom to be revealed later) crossover, and is the sequel to "The Consequences of Bloody Manchester", if anyone remembers that story.

sopdetly, you may remember this one, considering that I know a copy of what was written at the time came with us to Lumos 2006. And it was your fault for coming up with the idea of the crack!pairing in this one anyway. :)

Needless to say, this one has been in the works for a long, long time. It was the combination of another TV show coming into the mix and the massive 21 Jump Street binge I've been on for the last week that's gotten me about three scenes away from finished with this one. I'm determined to get this done before residency.

If anyone's interested, let me know - I appreciate all the help I can get with this one. :)

Thanks!
L.

Hi...I would love it if you could take a look at the story. :) I'm fairly okay on the fact checking part of it - what I really need is someone to read through the story and see if they can spot any massive plot holes in the text. Because there was such a long gap in between starting and finishing the story, I'm worried that there are plots that were started that weren't completed, images that don't fit, things like that. Does that sound all right to you? Let me know. :)

Thanks!

OH. OH MY GOD. IT ALL JUST CAME RUSHING BACK TO ME.

HOLY SHIT. XD

If I know the mystery fandom, I'd be HAPPY to take a whack at betaing your crack! :D For the totally not selfish reason of OMG THAT PAIRING YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. LOLOLOL

*falls back and cackles with glee* All your fault, I tell you!

And really, you don't have to know the mystery fandom - the references to it within the story are so bloody vague and minor that there's no need to know them for the story to make sense. The sequel, however... (Yeah, I know, planning a sequel already, not what I should be doing, LOL). The only reason that the new fandom is classified as a mystery is because the nature of this cracked out crossover would basically blow the whole twist of the other series in advance. So if you don't plan on watching them or don't mind spoilers, LOL, you're clear. :)

And yes, that pairing. Heeeeeee. :) I am inordinately excited about it.

I'll shoot a copy over to you right away. Now, be warned, there are still some changes I know I have to make. This was started long before Deathly Hallows came out, and there were some things that we learned in there in regards to Regulus that I know I can fix in here and still keep the nature of the story. But yeah...crack ahoy! :)

*tackle hugs you*
