Goddamn you RTD for breaking my heart again. :( Gaaaaaaaah. Evil man.

Now I'm more scared of Moffatt thank ever....

And now us BBC America viewers get to experience Phillip Glenister with one of the worst American accents ever done on TV. Of all the things to show after that emotional sucker punch that is End of Time....

Kay, going to go bury myself in happy, denial-filled fanfic. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to post them here.

And as soon as I get my purse back I'm going to go out, crank up the music, and brainstorm on a sequel to Salva Nos.

L.

There is a great deal of commiseration hugging going on on the internets over that episode, let me tell you. I can't wait til the denialfics pop up... I've only seen this one. Though note that it's not Ten2/Rose-friendly. I can't remember where you fall on that issue. >_>

::commiseration hug back:: I believe it. I think my heart just about ripped in two at the very end. The thing is, I think I could have handled the regeneration if RTD was staying on....but he's not going to be there now, and Moffat's got nowhere near as good a track record with me as RTD does.

My opinion on TenII/Rose....hmm. I enjoy reading the stories if I'm in the right mood for it, but I dare say my OTP is Rose/Doctor.

(You are speaking to the girl who is attempting to formulate a cohesive plot to degenerate 11 back into Ten, and get a Bad-Wolfy sort of Rose back from the parallel universe....don't know how this one is going to work, it's probably more cracktastic than anything I've ever come up with, but the thought's there)

Thanks for the recommendation! Off to read. :)

::one more commiserating hug for the road::

Lol, never apologize for planning crack. Have you seen some of the stuff RTD put on the screen for us? We will never top that, simply because no one's paying us to make that little sense. :-p

Yes ma'am. ;) And you're so right - One of the most frequent phrases out of my mouth as I was watching End of Time tonight was "What the hell is he smoking?!" Although part of me wishes I could get paid to make that little sense, because then I wouldn't have changed the bloody logo! Argh!

(There's profound amnesia and tiem!babies involved in the cracktastic fic too, so I get the feeling sense is totally out the window with this one...)

I'd read that. After that, we all need a little crack.

I cried so hard that Julia started to cry and then there we were, all of us just crying. The new series looks interesting, but, well... Ten. Tententententententen. Ten. TenNANT. Forever. Anyway. Wow. *clings to all her Ten dolls maniacally*

Well, Julia's learning the right way early on, so you're teaching her well. Ten and Tennant will always be her first Doctor too. :) *clings to her Ten doll and her sonic screwdriver*

Like I know I've said before, I think I would be able to handle the new series if RTD was in charge, but since he's not writing Eleven...yeah. *gulps nervously* I think I'm going to have to mentally think of them as two separate shows as I watch the next season (and not throw something at the tv the first time River bloody Song shows up). That's if we even stick with it through the entire series. Who knows? (pardon the pun)

There's always fanfic. *g*

In RL stuff, let me know when you want to do that girls' night. I've only got a few nights free this week, and then from Friday to next Saturday I'm up in Cambridge for my residency, but any time after that works too. :) We can plot how we're going to collapse into massive fits of glee at the concert in July. *VEG*

Hmm. Maybe Bono's a Time Lord too...

You know, I liked those 2 episode and I was excepting things for the most part (but still with a grudge) and for the most part I only got a little teary eyed towards the end of the last episode....and then the Doctor goes looking and his hand and says "But I don't want to die" and that's it I'm lost and the tears go flowing because you KNOW that not just the Doctor says that but David as well.

*big dramatic sigh*

I swear RTD is trying to kill his fans or something. At least he's redeem himself to me through the lasts eps. It was nice to see the Doctor acting himself and not all emo angst like in the past few eps.

But man I'm going to miss David Tennant as the Doctor, I just hope the show he's doing a polite for NBC will be picked up.

*hugs*

I definitely cried and the boyfriend didn't make fun of me for it because he was bummed too. We both loved 10, but in a way were glad that Tennant left at the height of his popularity, rather than overstaying his welcome (a la The X Files). I have decided to give 11 a chance and read all of the good crack fic that I can get my hands on. *hint hint*

yeah, bawled my face off. As for denial fics - if you're one of the 3 Doctor/Rose fans on LJ who haven't already read it I'd strongly suggest earlgreytea's (sorry, I fail at the formating to link directly) Chaos Verse. Even if you have - I'm finding a re-read to be the perfect thing for PTRD (Post Traumatic Regeneration Disorder)

then as I reread a few chapters of Mysterious Ways I notice EGT betad for you... Well, I'm sure you'd agree with me then.
